Jacques started his career in financial services in 1989, helping families and small business owners navigate insurance, retirement and estate planning. As his clients grew, so did their tax needs — and Jacques moved naturally into the world of SARS and tax practice.

Today he leads TCS Accounting's tax division, handling everything from individual returns to complex corporate structures. He's built a reputation for honest, plain-language advice and for finding deductions that other practitioners miss.

Outside the office, Jacques believes that being a good accountant means being a good listener first. Bring him a problem and he'll give you the time it deserves.

Michael joined TCS in 1999 with a clear focus: build an accounting practice that small and medium businesses could actually rely on. Two decades later, he leads the firm's accounting and payroll divisions and is the day-to-day point of contact for many of TCS's longest-standing clients.

He's a Pastel-certified specialist who genuinely enjoys the craft of clean books — the satisfaction of a perfectly reconciled bank account, a tidy fixed-asset register, a payroll run that closes without a single query.
